When you book an expert roof wash with us we send our two/three man team of professional roof cleaners to your property. Depending on the size and height of your house, and how we determine it best to access these, we will carry out the cleaning either by cherry picker, or by putting up a portable scaffold. The portable scaffold is much like those used by window cleaners, and does not need to be fixed to your property. For hard-to-access areas we will suggest a cherry picker – a large truck with a hydraulic platform that raises our cleaner up to the height of your roof. 

We will then treat your roof with a moss clearing agent and leave this to soak in for 24 hours. 

Once this has been done we are then ready to steam soft wash your roof 

The roof is steam cleaned at a high temperature  to break up all of the dirt and debris. This is then removed, our team will clear all accessible gutters by hand, removing all leaves, moss, and anything else they find. We will also check all downpipes and swan necks removing any blockages if they find any. Where needed, we can also clip back any loose gutters. 

We will then go on to wash and clean the outsides of all of your gutters, downpipes, fascias, soffits and bargeboards, leaving the exterior of  your roof and guttering clean and clear!

As we are also gutter cleaning specialists we recommend regular gutter clearance – about one or twice a year – to ensure the longevity of your property and protect against damp and cold, avoidable blockages and drain issues. 

We can clean roofs and gutters all year round, although some weather conditions make it difficult to complete the work satisfactorily. If for any reason there are extreme freezing temperatures or snow or high winds that might cause a risk to our cleaners and your property, we will reschedule your booking for another day with as much notice as possible.
