We use portable scaffolding or advanced ground-based roof cleaning equipment, ensuring all work is carried out safely and in compliance with UK health and safety regulations.

Our Process:

1. Access Assessment and Setup
On arrival, we assess your roof’s size, height, and accessibility to determine the best setup. Depending on your property, we will use portable scaffolding or extendable ground-based cleaning tools. Our methods are non-invasive and do not require any equipment to be permanently fixed to your property.

2. Roof Washing

Once the setup is complete, we thoroughly clean your roof, removing dirt, moss, and debris. Our careful and effective cleaning process restores your roof’s appearance while ensuring no damage occurs.

3. Gutter Cleaning (Included)

As part of the service, we manually clear all accessible gutters, removing leaves, moss, and any other blockages. We also inspect downpipes and swan necks to ensure they’re free of obstructions. Where necessary, we secure any loose guttering to ensure proper drainage.

4. Exterior Cleaning

To finish the job, we clean the outsides of your gutters, downpipes, fascias, soffits, and bargeboards, leaving the exterior of your home looking fresh and well-maintained.

5. Biocide Treatment (Optional)

If requested, we can apply a biocide treatment after the roof has dried. This environmentally friendly treatment helps prevent the regrowth of moss, algae, and lichen, keeping your roof cleaner for longer.

Regular Gutter Maintenance:

We recommend scheduling regular gutter clearance once or twice a year to protect your property from blockages, water damage, and damp issues. This is especially important in the UK’s wet climate, where clogged gutters can quickly lead to costly problems such as mould, rot, and structural damage.

We can clean roofs and gutters all year round, although some weather conditions make it difficult to complete the work satisfactorily. If for any reason there are extreme freezing temperatures or snow or high winds that might cause a risk to our cleaners and your property, we will reschedule your booking for another day with as much notice as possible.
